New arrangements for the payment of Departure Tax

The general public is hereby informed that with effect from March 01, 2010, new arrangements have been put in place at the Melville Hall and Canefield Airports and other ports of embarkation to facilitate the payment of Departure Tax.

This tax will no longer be paid to the airline or ship agents, but passengers will be directed to another counter where the embarkation tax will be collected by Officials of the Dominica Air ans Sea Ports Authority (DASPA).

Amount payable are:

• XCD $45.00 (EC Dollars) for CARICOM nationals
• XCD $59.00 (EC Dollars) for non CARICOM nationals
