Senior Policy Officer (OPCW)

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take a leading role in the formulation of strategy across the Secretariat and will provide policy advice to the Director-General and to senior management.

The role is centered on stakeholder management, including other international organisations and chemical industry. You will be tasked to provide advice and recommendations on contingency operations and the verification regime (including both the chemical weapons and the industry dimensions) from a long-term planning perspective.

Several other responsibilities of this role will be to support the Advisory Board on Education and Outreach (ABEO) and to support the Director OSP in programme budgeting and reporting.
